KplusK have created the Development of a 27 Storey Ginza style tower in SOHO, Hong Kong.

KplusK have created the Development of a Ginza style tower in Central. Situated alongside the iconic Central to Mid-levels Escalator, KplusK saw an opportunity to create a strong relationship between the new tower and the bustling SOHO District. The dramatic inclined podium incorporates massive operable windows creating a visual and sensual link to the street.

 

This “Ginza Style” tower above will accommodate 24 floors of bars, restaurants and commercial activities.  The design accentuates the lightness of the non-loadbearing façade. Each level is individual defined by carefully proportioned recesses and floor to ceiling glazing. Bespoke façade systems will create cornerless openings giving dramatic definition to each aspect.

 

Superstructure of the tower is completed, and Topping out is expected by the end of the year.
